The Mumbles Brewery had humble beginnings in the Pilot Inn in the seaside haven of Mumbles. It has vastly grown as a business for its production of truly grate ales to suit all palates. The brewery state that brewing is their life, beer is our water so don’t waste time drinking other things.
The Oystermouth Stout has a rich creamy head and dark roasted malt flavours distinguish this classic stout, with the slightest hint of the sea due to real oysters being added to celebrate the rejuvenation of oyster cultivation in Swansea Bay. Chosen by the CAMRA Great British Beer Festival in 2014 and 2016. The bottle conditioned version won the Gold Award in the speciality beer section at the SIBA Wales & West Beer Festival in 2016 and the cask version won a SIBA Bronze Award in 2017 and a CAMRA Wales Bronze in 2015.
