Don Melchor vineyard is situated at the foot of the Andes Mountains on the northern bank of the Maipo River. The grapes are hand-picked during the harvest and the wine produced is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, on the nose it is Elegant and complex, with ripe red fruit, cedar, tobacco and chocolate notes.
Don Melchor is well-structured Deep cherry red. A wine with tremendous aromatic complexity and a heightened expression of Cabernet fruit. Highly concentrated and persistent on the palate. Fresh, with smooth, and delicate tannin and excellent balance.
Red meats, especially lamb or wild game prepared with different cooking methods, such as roasted or braised and served with sauces made with red wine, mushrooms, rosemary, and tomatoes, among others. Assorted terrines and patés, especially duck. Cows or goat milk cheeses, dry, aged or creamy cheeses
