Since it was founded, Marqués de Cáceres has had a guaranteed supply of grapes in privileged areas of high-quality vineyards, principally located in areas of the Rioja Alta and Rioja Alavesa sub-regions, and particularly in the town of Cenicero where the winery is situated. Our technical teams are responsible for monitoring and supervising the vine growing tasks with the aim of ensuring the highest quality of the fruit harvested each year. The Wine has an Luminous straw colour with tempting, pale golden highlights. Floral bouquet with refined notes of mellow, exotic fruit that highlight the wine's complexity.
An array of fruit flavours in the mouth, from citrus fruits to pears, peaches, lychees that blend deliciously with a silky freshness and discreet acidity giving free rein to this wine's original character.
Recommended with richer fish (salmon, tuna), shellfish and stronger flavours like garlic (think codfish with garlic and clams), and things that actually have fruit in them (mango salsa, couscous with blond raisins and stewed chicken.
