Calvados is distilled from cider made from specially grown and selected apple. The fruit is harvested and pressed into a juice that is fermented into a dry cider. It is then distilled into eau de vie. After two years of aging in oak casks, it can be sold as calvados. Papidoux Fine Calvados is a tangy aromatic Calvados, with a fine, bright apple note. Aged for three years in oak casks this gives Papidoux Fine Calvados it's pale golden colour and mellow harmonious flavour.
